After 13 years of togetherness, these sweethearts were more than ready to tie the knot—and we helped them fine-tune some details. Here’s everything the lovely bride had to say! 

 

Tess chose a lace fishtail wedding dress which made her truly stand out on her wedding day. The Chantilly lace and beaded appliqués trickling into the tulle skirt was a sight to behold. This figure- flattering gown will make your significant other's jaw drop as you walk down the aisle! 

 

“We met on my 18th birthday in the Purple Turtle, a dingy bar in Reading!” 

 

“He whisked me away to Paris for a long weekend over Valentine’s Day in 2014. We had a wonderful day and a meal at the Eiffel Tower restaurant. Then we wandered around and watched the lights. He told me later that he was planning to propose there, but there were too many street sellers and rats running 

around. So when we went back to our hotel, he proposed on our private terrace - it was perfect!” 

 

“I adored the getting ready process, it was so much fun! My favourite part of the day was the ceremony itself - it was so amazing to look out at all of our family and friends smiling with tears of joy— so very emotional!” 

 

“Peter and I had been together for 13 years when we got married and it’s just so special to finally be able to call him my husband. Everything feels that little bit more romantic!” 

 

“Go in with an open mind and try on lots of different styles. Trust your stylist - they know what will work on your body. Don’t skip on the alterations process; it works wonders and can be an amazing way to have your dress personalized. I added straps to mine and I absolutely love that it is one of a kind.” 

 

“I cannot speak highly enough of my experience with Sophie Grace Bridal! The showroom is beautiful and they have a fantastic range of dresses to suit lots of body shapes and sizes. My appointment at Sophie Grace was my first one and I didn’t have any idea what style of dress I wanted. This wasn’t a problem at all and I was given the opportunity to try on lots of different styles. We were even able to have a double appointment! The stylist was wonderful and gave a lot of very helpful advice and guidance throughout the 

appointment. Although I found a dress that I loved the shape of, I wasn’t completely sure of the straps. Again, this wasn’t a problem and Jackie, the seamstress, came down and talked me through our options. This was amazing as I was able to have a completely bespoke dress. That was exactly what I wanted. Jackie was wonderful throughout the fittings and she’s very skilled at her job. She made some gorgeous straps for me. I can’t describe how much I love my wedding dress and I’m so thankful to the ladies at Sophie Grace Bridal for helping me find it and make it my own.” We’re humbled by your kind words, Tess!
