Happy Wednesday, lovelies! I hope you’re all doing ok. I’d like to share a really special wedding with you today.
The beautiful bride, Abi, chose a stunning mermaid style lace wedding gown called "Christina" from Ladybird Bridal for her wedding day. Our boutique is based in Wokingham, Berkshire, and we try our best to give our clients the perfect dress for their most special day.
There was so much love on this day and everyone definitely felt it. After the wedding day, we asked her a few questions about her wedding journey. Here’s their sweet love story!
What Was the Most Special Part of Your Wedding Day?
They say a woman never cherishes a moment more than on her wedding day. Dressed in an ethereal all-white dress by us, Abi looked spectacular on her wedding.
When asked about the most special part of her very special day, she responded, “Every part-the fact that our wedding was not how we planned it given COVID meant that it was really informal and focused on the meaning of being married and not all the more formal things that go with a wedding!”
“It was the best day & the ceremony was followed by a small gathering/party at our house (which we transformed for the day) and allowed us to host different groups of people at different times in order to stick within recommended numbers,” she further added.
Her emotions were visible in her words, and her happiness left us in awe of her.
Words of Wisdom for Future Sophie Grace Bridal Brides.
Abi was all in support of getting married during this pandemic. She did have her doubts, but after going through her well planned experience and witnessing the support of all family members, it all turned out exceptionally well.
She said, “If you can get married during this pandemic then do it. The current situation makes it even more special and takes away the serious formalities of a wedding!”
We wholeheartedly agree with her advice and also recommend against placing barriers to your love. Celebrate love and don’t let COVID hold you back.
What’s the Best Thing About Getting Married?
Stepping into married life is nothing short of mesmerizing for every bride. You leave your previous life behind and form an amalgam with the person you love and trust. For Abi, it was all about finding the exciting things in life within the pandemic currently surrounding us. She was equally excited about entering a new phase of her life.
She said, “Thinking about the next stage in our lives and all the exciting things to come was surely the best part. COVID wasn’t going to stop us and we had the best day last Friday and a small party at our house!”
