Emma and Robert’s Beautifully Intimate Wedding!

Emma and her longtime beau, Robert, finally got hitched in beautiful and intimate matrimony. It was our absolute pleasure to have her over our bridal studio and help her choose her gorgeous wedding gown for her big day. Emma was perfectly delightful; we sat with her and chatted about her wedding day. Also, we took this moment to know more about her fairytale and how the man of her life proposed to her.
How did the two of you meet?
We met nine years ago at the University of Worcester through my housemates.

How did your partner propose?
"We went back up to Worcester, where Rob proposed on the bridge were on our first date, I got my heel stuck in between the wooden slats. It was perfect, and then we spent a lovely night away."

For sure, it must've been both hilarious and romantic. The fact that Emma got her heel stuck during the proposal and that it was the place where they first met years ago. They will have this memory for years to come, and kudos to Robert for creating such an amazing memory for Emma to remember.

What was the most special part of your wedding day?
"Actually, getting married was one of the most magical feelings in the world, but also, my dad seeing me for the first time will be a moment to cherish forever."

Walking down the aisle with your dad by the side has got to be a very emotional moment for all brides. Not just for them, but even the fathers as they watch their little girls twirl in their beautiful wedding gowns and start the most important chapter in their life.

Any wisdom for future Sophie Grace Bridal Brides?
"Savor every moment as the day honestly flies by, and enjoy every bit of the build-up. Finally, take a moment away with your partner to soak in the day! Don't be scared to say no to people as well; it's all about you, so it's important to make sure it's your decisions, not everyone else's influence."

For all you future brides, take it from Emma – she's a wise bride y'all!

What's the Best Thing About Being Married?
"For me, it's the final piece of the puzzle, and it's weird, but you feel closer in some ways that you didn't realize! Also, you can enjoy life together again without every moment being wedding-related, haha!"
We’re so grateful that Red Door Photography used his artistry and attention to detail to bring this beautiful wedding inspiration to life!

Inspired by the colours of the season and the breathtaking views of the valley, the couple chose a fantastic colour palette of burgundy and grey that looked beautiful against the rustic vibes of the venue. They did a lot of DIY for the wedding, as you can see the beautiful details in the pictures.

Thank you for sharing your special day with us. Congratulations to you both and may you carry the joy of this happy day close to your heart as your journey the road of life together. Sophie Grace Bridals always makes sure to provide all of its brides the best of the best. We want our beautiful brides to have the most wonderful experience when they're shopping for their big day.
