A slice of paradise – Laura and David’s Mexico destination wedding

Laura and David’s wedding in Mexico was the epitome of a dreamy destination wedding! The reception was held at 'Dreams Tulum Resort and Spa' in Tulum. The crisp, eclectic venue was the perfect backdrop for their intimate day and required almost no additional decor to make it look and feel stunning. Our bride’s Ladybird bridal gown was the perfect combination of beachy and chic to match the vibe of the entire day. The dress features a sweetheart neckline, dropped waist and intricate lace bodice paired with a dreamy full tulle skirt.
Laura and David's favourite thing to do together is travel and see the world so it only made sense for them to choose a travel theme for their wedding day. The end result was a celebration that was meaningful to them and their guests which truly embraced all of the things that make them who they are together.
This pair have the sweetest love story to tell. Here’s Laura to tell you all about it…We chose the travelling theme because we met in China (for work). We were working for the same Chinese company, Dave from the Uk and I was based in Colombia. But as we had to go twice a year for conferences and also travelling for work to the same countries then we started the relationship basically when we went to Río de Janeiro in Brazil.
Our wedding was just like a dream. My dress was perfect, I loved my makeup and hair. The ceremony was in Spanish and English and my Dad giving me away to Dave was just lovely. The party was also very nice as it had all the Latin American music and the British loved it so much. Although the wedding was just one day we stayed in the hotel for 10 days sharing with the family and friends who also were there with us.
